5 Tips to Increase Your Buyer Conversions
1. Confident, But Not Arrogant:
Buyers can be squeamish about an over confident agent.
Buyers want an expert who is familiar with the area they
are looking and competent in law and negotiation. Use
your skills to persuade buyers you are the
right person for their home search.
2. Accept 'NO', But Suggest
Alternatives: Great salespeople have a gift for
turning a no into a yes without making the buyer feel as
though they have been cheated or wronged. Always suggest
alternatives to an objection.
3. Ask, Ask and Ask Again:
Yes, the 3 time rule. If you are trying to get a buyer
to agree, it is best to have them start agreeing with
you from the start.
4. TMI (Too Much Information):
Most buyers want to know the alternatives before making
a decision. Give them more than they ask and they will
never leave wanting more.
5. Night And Day / Be In Control:
Yes it's the buyer who will ultimately sign the contract
on the new home, so realize every buyer is different.
Some have immediate needs, some further down the road;
no matter what your buyer needs, let them know you are
in observant of their needs and willing to adapt if
their needs change.
